Hi, I’m Shane.
I created Learn Mandarin with Shane to help English speakers learn Mandarin with confidence and avoid the very frustrating mistakes I made.
I’m passionate about learning Mandarin, but my journey wasn’t easy. Over the years, I’ve made just about every mistake a Mandarin learner can make. I spent countless hours memorising vocabulary, struggling with grammar, and wondering why I still couldn’t have a real conversation.
Rather than letting those years of trial and error go to waste, I created this website to help you avoid the same frustrating mistakes and make faster progress than I did.
